Completed: 2007
With this villa renovation, we picked up on the success of the Wood Street Alteration and ensured that the kitchen, bathroom and lighting were ultra modern, while traditional features provided the back bone of the house.
The kitchen, laundry, dining and second living space, have been combined into one flowing space with zones, which acts as a nice contrast to the single room and function approach of villas.
The large island bench is made from carrara marble; zinc cladding used to the exterior is brough into the interior. A linen stainless steel bench provides a very practical working surface behind. Large 3 x 1m tiles are used throughout the bathroom fitted with modern taps, mirrors and feature lighting, partiularly to the bath, profiding a sense of drama.
